Hi karen. Good name for the shot. A long dress at that. you have captured such fine detail in the wet fur. with natural looking colours. i like thelook on his face and the little looking hands. well done TFS.

very nice indeed, lovely to see this Otter stood up like this. I guess it's easy to go down the route of personification with animals, especially mammals, but this little one really does look like it's wearing a fur dress!!

Fantastic!! This otter's pose is unbelievable - great timing and quick thinking to capture it. The face is adorable and the coat really does look like a gown. Great colors and details - those are some "fingernails."

Indeed a rahter unusual pose but you did gret to capture it!
These fellows here are really posing for you...what did you bribe them with? :))

Anyway, this is technically very well! I love the sharpness and the texture of this wet fur - very well captured!
Also, the focus and DOF are very nice and the exposure is spot-on!
Nicely composed and presented!

Why do you think that shot is not perfect in technical aspect? I like it a lot. You are right. Pose of the animal is wonderful as well as the title of the image. The fur dress is amazing as reproduction and presentation of it. Great shot, wonderful vertical composition, perfect exposure, contrast and lovely colours. Bravo. I like your wonderful WS too.

When I on a rare occasion see one when I'm trying out the trout it seems to get away as quick as possible, hehehe...
