Great shot of the Cute Otter and great note and workshop about there more ruthless hunter side (Poor Moorhen), I like the central frontal POV with the foreground grass and BG foilage, nice detail too and colours too.

Superb capture of this cute otter. Very good POV, DOF, and sharpness. Nice composition too. I like the playful glimpse of its eyes, it seems to say "come and play with me". Very nice colours.

What a superb shot of this Otter Karan!
That's quite a shocking story in your note! I didn't think they'd take down birds as big as a Heron!
Anyway back to the pic :-)
Sharp and crisp with excellent detail.
Nice lighting and even exposure.

Hi Karan,

This is a wonderful shot of the Otter, but I like the workshop one as much as this one.
That one also, like this one, does show great detail and in my opinion is as sharp as can be.
You've done an excellent job on both Karan. TFS!!!

Wow, Karan, they are big your otters! I have never thought they could be as big as that, how impressed I am! The picture with the moorhen impressed me a lot and it is very well captured. This one too, with the perfect dof and the beautiful colours notwithstanding the overcasted sky we can guess. There are otters in the Lac Pierre, here, but they are so tiny compared to this one. Thanks a lot for your interesting notes once more,

Perfect and very impressive low POV. You managed to show this charming animal amazingly. I like expression of its eyes, wonderful reproduction of the grass and cute smooth nicely coloured BG. I like framing and composition of the picture so much too. My best wishes and compliments.

A lovely view of this cute and playful otter.I just love to watch otters play.I always tell my wife if I get to come back as an animal,let it be an otter.
Excellent low POV and DOF.

Cute to look at, but as you say, they are a predator. Nice "eye level" shot here with good POV and details in the fur. I must get down to the BWC again soon!

(I was at the Owl and Otter Sanctuary near Lyndhurst in the New Forest once, and as we looked into the underwater viewing window a severed rabbit head quietly floated past)
