[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I have in my garden three pairs of blackbirds, this is one of the females, she is rather alert as there is a dispute over who should have what garden and where.
The male blackbird is Black as the name suggests but the females are more brown with a mottled pattern in their body plumage. Widespread, often seen with a beak-full of worms during the spring.

Image cropped about 30%, slight adjustment to saturation, converted from RAW to Jpeg, smart sharpened by 15% at 1.2, threshold 3 in CS5 to compensate for loss of sharpness on upload to TN.

Hello Bill,
A fine capture of a female Blackbird. She poses well and you took her in fine lighting that allows top sharpness, nice natural colours and a great catchlight in the eye. She stands out well against the blurred green BG too.
