Cultis Lough , on the way between Banbridge and Castlewellan has a lot of resident swans. Many people stop by to feed them bread--me included.
Before arriving at the Lough, I had stopped by the store for a loaf of bread to feed them. As it was early evening on a Sunday, they were all nicely fed, thank you! Lots of visitors that day with bags of bread.
This boyo was just serenely paddling along, seemingly content with his lot in life.

The sky was quite overcast so the water has a real dark blue cast.
Original, slight crop, his feathers were really suffering from OE, so worked with the lighting, resize, sharpen in CS2. Framed in Photofiltre. |
