|Mute Swan(Cygnus olor)taken on my local pond Holywell. There is usually only one pair of Mute Swans on the pond each year who raise 6/8 cygnets. I have watched the cob swimming tirelessley back and forwards across the pond, while the pen is on the nest chasing off any birds even when they are nowhere near the nest!|

Nice capture of this Mute Swan landing. He's giving you a nice pose and showing off his large wings rather well. Nice detail but little over-exposed which has washed out the colour a bit. A nice image still.
a little bit to much for the exposure but the composition is beautiful
