[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A male Swan swimming towards me very fast.
This Swan would swim at me when he saw that i was near his nest site. Even though the female was out on the water with the Cygnet's the male would come to me and get out the water to scare me off. This is 1 of around 100 frames i took, i was always trying to capture a good reflection in the water.

Hello Mark! It is queen of swans! Wonderful shot, excellent. Great POV! Cheers from Warsaw!

Hi Mark,

Great shot
Perfect sharpness with good (feather) details and an SUPERB reflection

TFS Thijs

Hello Mark,
What a wonderful image with great reflection you are showing us here.
You have been very lucky with the water being so still in front of the swan.
Love the action because looking at the water pushed up in front of the swan he really seems to come towards you with great speed.
Composition is good although I personally would have cropped a small part of top to make it a perfect mirrored image, but that's just my opinion ofcourse.
Sharpness and exposure are spot on and the details in the feathers are lovely.
Thanks for sharing,
Kind regards, Harry

P/S Could it be that not so many people do comment on your images anymore because you don't comment very much on theirs???
Looking at the number of comments (66) you did give sofar compared to the number of uploads (125) you don't seem to make comments yourself that much!!!!

Hi Mark,
Wow this is stunning!! Wonderful sharpness and details in the bird and I love the reflections in the water, also the wake it is creating! Really beautiful! Well done and TFS
Cheers Tina :-)

Beautiful photo, like the reflection.

Hello Mark,
This is a fine frontal capture, the bird is well exposed and the framing is excellent!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Concerning comments: Maybe some more will come your way if you're a bit more active yourself?

Brilliant reflection! The still water in front of the swan really helped you here.

Bonjour,
Bel effet de miroir.
Bonne journée.

Hello Mark,
I am amazed by the perfect quality of your shot as I tried myself to capture a swan in similar situation, which proved hardly feasible. Yours is just stunning -very sharp, with the reflection on the still waters in front of the rushing bird and at the same time you captured the dynamism of the scene.
Congratulations and TFS!
Anna
