Great land/seascape image Stephen.
Beautiful depth with the stones in the foreground leading the eye perfectly in to the wonderful moody scene.
Excellent vertical composition and use of slow shutter speed to soften the water nicely.
Also love the soft color tones and the frame you did put around the image very muc.
Thanks for sharing.
Have a nice weekend,
Harry

Its amazing how different these places can look at different times.
I'd hardly recognise it as the same place.
very interesting comparison.

Hi Steve,
Source online at wordnet.
SUPERLATIVE,
adj : highest in quality [syn: greatest, sterling]
n 1: an exaggerated expression (usually of praise); "the critics
lavished superlatives on it"
2: the highest level or degree attainable: "his landscapes were
deemed the acme of beauty"; "the artist's gifts are at
their acme"; "at the height of his career"; "the peak of
perfection"; "summer was at its peak";
superlatives achieved by man";
"at the top of his profession"
Have a great weekend mf,
Howard

Hi Stephen,
great POV and super sharp througout, the splash of red in the FG links to the cliffs in the BG nicely. Great shot.

Hi Stephen
I like this shot with the silky water and subtle tones. Totally different from your last post of the same scene. Excellent to see the differences. Thank you MF. :-)

Boy, timing is everything... meaning the light is everything in photography. What a difference. I feel the shutter speed was a little too slow for my taste as the water is distractingly white... but I am obviously in the minority on this point. : ) I always enjoy your work and love what you do with that lens.

Hi Stephen,
This is beautiful! I love the soft silky water effect and the rocks lead the eye into the image nicely! I like the soft colours and the framing sets it all off really well! Well done and TFS

Hi Steve,
What a bit of sun can do to the mood of a photo. This surely does look like it was taken on a different time of the day.
I like the motion in the breaking waves and how some of the colors in the FG rock return in the distant cliff.
TFS,
Niek
