[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I came across this Mute Swan having a good preen in the early morning sunshine. I was actually after the Great White Egret but could not resist this opportunity.
The way it has its paddle on its back reminded me of a small trawl boat and the steady sail they use to keep the boat on a line as they lift the crab pots etc.
Camera settings:- ISO 400, 1120mm focal length, Auto exposure and white balance, 1.4x converter, remote shutter cord.

Hi Peter, this is a nice shot of the swan and very well exposed on the whites. You caught the light well and I love the pov of the Swan preening. Nice composition. I see they haven't taken down your Tamarind Monkeys.
