Wow!!
This is one of the best Robin photos I have ever seen!
The flash has enhanced this plump bird's colours and has brought out the detail amazingly well!

Amazing Karen...how do you do it? Animals do seem to love you and allow you get close or peek into their world from time to time. Very impressive detail and perfect DOF. The colours are warm and perfectly saturated too..a chance well taken.

They really are friendly birds. If I remember well, I think this is the second time this little fellow sits with you on a bench. You had an excellent reflex to capture it so quickly and the result is amazing! Details and colors are superb well complemented by this black background. This is very nice. Thanks!

Beautiful!!!! One of the nicest Robins I have seen. You caught him in a superb pose - he looks puffed up from the cold. Gorgeous colors and super sharp details. I love the effect from the flash - really stands out against the black background.

Excellent clarity with sharp,well defined plumage.
The lighting is wonderful and the colours produced are vivid and bright.

Hi Karen, what a lovely end of year post! A charming Robin who looks quite relaxed to be next to you. You have captured a lovely pose with great detail and colour in the plumage, nice and crisp and sharp. These little Robins are very brave and are always hoping for a little tit bit from humans. I often put my camera away only to have to take it out again! Best wishes for a happy and healthy 2008!
