Wowwww :-) Hi my "beloved"-OwlMan friend Joe:)
This shot and your dedication to me is great surprise for me.
Thank you very much for your kind dedication and your heartfelt words and also thanks for this wonderful capture of this beautifull boid snake, Corallus caninus which has 5 pair trigonal thermoreceptor pits (one of them is prominent in your nice shot) on its upper jaw. In Turkey, the boid snakes are represented with one species: Eryx jaculus (Sandboa). Of course, I'm taking this in to my favorites:)! Have a nice Easter time my friend!
With my best wishes,
Bayram

I know not of Bayram, but shall make an attempt to find out more thanks to you and your wonderful image Joey. I have added it to a theme I thought perhaps it fit into. I hope you don't mind....wonderful work. Have a good Easter...

Hi Joey,
very powerful portrait of a Tree Boa, creatively seen and well done! Densely concentrated, well composed.
Perfectly well captured with delightful green colours and precise details out of the darkness of indoor.
Well written notes. Thank you!
My best regards,
Peter

Hola Joe, al igual que yo veo que dejas descansar poco a tu cámara :-)
Diferente toma , con buena profundidad y enfoque así como una iluminación efectiva. Interesantes detalles como los ojos.

Hi Joey
Great shot of the Emerald Boa, I really like the composition with the tight crop focusing on the Snakes head, superb POV with excellent eye contact although I'm not sure having eye contact with one of these guys is such a good idea, nicely saturated colours, I really love all the green shots always thought it would be a good idea for a theme and I see Bob has created one.

Very good photograph, Joe.
I'm a bit surprised 'cause I think this one is behind glass and still technically well done...
Second reason I'm surprised is the successful fill in flash...
Well done

Awesome snake! This one for some reason kind of scares me with his look on his face and his tonque sticking out, almost as if wanting to bite me! Great photo! Cheers Josh Lewis.

Hi Joe,
A beautiful and a little intimidating portrait perfectly composed and captured for our friend, Dr. Bayram Göçmen. The big eyes with vertical pupils designate it as a nocturnal species, and those four pairs of heat seeking pits just below the nostrils within the upper lip are really formidable! TFS my friend.
