[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Well back to the archives again and apologies for not being about too much over the last week. I am busy preparing for my first major exhibition (15 photos framed) and it is taking a lot of my time up to be honest and on top of that I have been off ill (yet again :-( )

Anyhow, this was taken back last October when I visited the British Wildlife Centre at Lingfield in Surrey
on a photographic day. I don't think there is much that needs to be said about the fox, it is a fairly common animal, and most people should know something about it, though if it is unfamiliar to you, if you follow the link about and select 'The Animals' from the left hand side, you will see the fox listed and can read about it there.

OK - this is almost full frame, just a slight crop otherwise no editting has been done whatsoever. Image has been converted from RAW, resized, USM'ed and a border added. It was taken on an overcast morning, at ISO800, handheld at 300mm, though the truth be known, I was sitting on the ground using my knees as a tripod to gain that little extra support...

Oh how wonderful to see both you and this lovely fox....common or not...not much imaged here with few exceptions...and as your your healthy best wishes...and remember what what mum told me..."This too shall pass".... My Realtor put it another way while I was in escrow...he said "All things come to those who wait"... actually he was quoting the Buddha...but that's not bad for a real estate agent:-)

Excellent portrait of the red fox. I really like the precise focus showing nice detail in fur and whiskers. Exposure is outstanding and I love the very natural colors. Very good DOF with nice blurred background.
