[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A female Blackbird which captured with very high ISO 3200!
Friday was a bit dark and rainy and I was testing high ISO settings with the view that results were likely to be poor. Please take a look. I was surprised.
Just normal noise reduction with Neat Image and some sharpening.

From RSPB website:

Latin name
Turdus merula

Family
Chats and thrushes (Turdidae)

Overview
The males live up to their name but, confusingly, females are brown often with spots and streaks on their breasts. The bright orange-yellow beak and eye-ring make adult male blackbirds one of the most striking garden birds. One of the commonest UK birds, its mellow song is also a favourite.

Where to see them
Found everywhere in gardens and countryside and from coasts to hills, although not on the highest peaks.

When to see them
All year round.

What they eat
Insects, worms and berries.

Hi Pekka. Sometimes we need bad weather to get us to try something different out of the comfort zone. The Blackbird has turned out well never an easy one to get right. you have good detail in the feather and natural colours. well done TFS.
