Hi Sue!
Amazing shot with wonderful details. I like a lot the blurred background and the tiny dot of light in the eye. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Sue. I have found that we have had very few bird at all in the garden over the last few weeks but this is normal for this time of year . I am sure scrags will be back soon. This was a fine close up with good detail and rich colours. You managed the light well. TFS.

Hi Sue,

Fantastic photo.
Wonderful colours with excellent sharpness.
Composition and detail are good.

Hello Sue,
Excellent close up of this lovely little robin,
fantastic details, superb sharpness and depth of
field, nice catchlight and beautiful natural

Hello Sue,

This is an excellent shot of Scrag showing the lovely colour patterns and the textural details of his plummage. He has a glint in his eye and a friendly appearance. I think that's what is so appealing about robins ... they are such friendly, inquisitive birds.

The birds seem to have disappeared from our area too. According to the Internet, there is a glut of natural food this year so many birds have left their normal garden feeding areas to feast on more natural food.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Sue

I am sorry to hear Scrag has gone awol! I saw a new Robin on my bird feeders today so perhaps he is just taking a holiday in Sussex.

This is a lovely shot of your little friend. Sharp, detailed and I love the cheeky look you caught.

I hope he returns soon
