Heading to London from Dubai with an Emirates Air line somewhere above Europe, watching through my window when i saw this strange shape bulky clound that attracted me then i decided to take few shots with my Sony DSC-R1 digital camera. As for me, this is the first time to see this kind of a cloud. Really strange..

This is a spectacular shot! You don't see a whole lot of cloud shots like this on here, you've captured this perfectly! Well done!

A superb view of a classic anvil cloud.

Some text for you from Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anvil_cloud)- A cumulonimbus incus (Latin incus, "anvil") is a cumulonimbus cloud which has reached the level of stratospheric stability and has formed the characteristic flat, anvil-top shape. It can cause a supercell and then a tornado.

Your cloud seems to be in an earlier stage than the Wikipedia examples, but is a better view of the whole cloud because it was shot from a plane.

Where was it taken? What elevation? You should add some description in a note. Maybe even add to Wikipedia!
