Very beautiful photo of this Siskin. Wonderful sharpness, pose and colours, also in the OOF BG. Probably I should have chosen another composition with less empty space around the bird, but that's personal.

Hi Nick.
Once more brilliant shot of a cute bird. When I was a child I had similar birds at home. Now I have met it very seldom and never with camera. All is perfect. Image of the bird and twig as well as the BG are outstanding in every respect. Bravo.

Great capture of a male Siskin that is easily good enough as an illustration of the species for a bird book. Every aspect of the species is shown with excellent sharpness and from the best POV. A great composition too.

Lean pickings here right now. The hummingbirds disappeared when the heat came back. I'm always glad to see something from your archives. A beautiful Pine Siskin with lovely yellows, blacks and whites. Excellent details of his face and plummage. A nice pose as he looks straight at the camera. Beautiful background and composition.
