[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi,

Another shot from my recent Peak District autumn woodland day - came across this lovely large pond and the sun was casting such lovely reflections I had to capture it. I deliberately composed centrally to emphasise the symmetry and ensure the focus was on the tree and its reflection.

Again, taken handheld due to lack of tripod, but reckoned I'd get away with a not particularly small aperture due to the relatively small depth of field in the view and the fact that at 17mm it's pretty good anyway. Which meant I could keep the ISO nice and low!

Hope you like it - it was a beautiful spot to wile away a few moments... :-)

great use of the reflection mate, amazing contrast between the light of the tree and the reflection itself. Great clarity too. Hope things are good with you and the new family, you must be a busy man! Nice to see your still getting out and snapping!
