Here's something slightly different :-)

I hope you like it!

A drop or droplet is a small volume of liquid, bounded completely or almost completely by free surfaces. A drop may form when liquid accumulates at the lower end of a tube or other surface boundary, producing a hanging drop called a pendant drop. Drops may also be formed by the condensation of a vapor or by atomization of a larger mass of liquid.

Note: Bob has convinced me to turn my points back on, so I will be giving out smilies once more... everyone knew I wouldn't last long without them :-)))

Hi Joe!

Good to discover new subjects for photography. I like POV on your picture - leaf with spherical droplet looks like futuristic space ship. Nice work.

Hello Joe,
This is well seen. Sometimes simple subject makes great subject. Centered composition work well and DOF creates nice effect. I don't know why, I have the impression that the drop could be sharpened a little more. TFS,

Olá Joe

Bonjour Joey! I really like your sensitivity and your precision in this picture. The whole drop is sharp while the rest is creamy and blurred, it is beautiful and perfect! I also like the square frame and the mid-position of the drop, the composition too is perfect. Well done my dear Joey!

heheheh i am quite the trickster...and it is so obvious...a dominant trait of my which has rubbed off on my kids and now I see it escapes my chambers to the world..oh-oh...

I think it is superb...Water in certain areas...and certain situations and close in and and...when it is all put together right as this..it works! Very good Joey...hope I didn't add too much to your already heavy workload!

Hi Joe,
It is good you are back. And thanks to Bob. A nice capture of this beautiful dew drop. Very well composed with sharp details. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Hello Joey, Nice try and I think the lighting is missing here. Normally your shot has the lovely lighting and colors. The subject is very nice. Ganesh
