[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi Everyone,
this is looking south/south west out into the English Channel, at the much photographed Kimmeridge Bay along the Dorset Coast.
It was taken some time last week when i managed to squeeze in a trip along the coast after work in a vain attempt to try to catch a sunset.
As it so often seems to be the case recently, the actual sunset itself was eventually pretty poor, turning from what was initially quite promising into a boring non event...but, as i have learnt from persuing Landscape Photography, you just have keep trying because sooner or later, you get what you want.

So in the mean time i thought i'd share this, the sky's pretty boring i'm afraid but i quite like the light on the oily black rocks, so i hope some of you might like it. I'm off out again tonight on a lovely sunny evening...fingers crossed!

Thank for looking...

Hallo Paul
I am a lover of any beautiful photograph, sunset, sunrise, wildlife, flowers, waterfalls and what so ever. Nature is so stunning that one cannot but love the sight of any of it. Just as this awesome seascape you have just posted. The variety of colour tones in this image is breathtaking. The idyllic place to be, so relaxing and harmonious atmosphere captured. The water’s foam and the movement in the water rounds of this delightful image to its best. Although I have missed out on some of your images I want to thank you for your valuable input on the site.
Best regards.
Anna

Hello Paul!

Stunning and unreal. I love saturated, blue colours mixed with warm light. Long exposure time always works great in such shots. Frozen water looks like kind of jelly. Lovely place and beautifull picture.

Hi Paul.
Once more brilliant technique of landscape (seascape) shooting. I have not wide angle lens but I study how to use it on your shots. Superb selection of subject, wonderful reproduction of water movement, amazing warm colours and crisp sharp details. Bravo.
Alexei.

It is difficult for me to believe that it is a photo-shoot or a painting. Lovely.

Hey Paul....the cream of the crop as usual...I wonder if I ever knew or had the gear to do this magic as you do...if I would ever tire of it..because no matter how many I see i still want for more!

Hi Mate

Another wonderful shot from you from the beautiful Kimmeridge Bay!
Indeed this is a place full of interesting details and textures and you managed to incorporate them very well in the FG here. Add to that the lives of the foam left on top and you have some lovely action going on there.
The cliff is also well positioned in the frame and the tower there acts as an excellent focal point. Is the building work over there?
Oh...and i wouldn't worry too much about the sky. You have those lines and layers that add plenty of interest.
Great work and hope that last night you had a successful outing :)

Cheers and TFS

Gorgeous shot Paul... The composition is so dramatic and beautifully lit. You waited until just the right moment to capture this superbly emotional scene. I love it. TFS!
