Wonderful capture!
Lovely details and colors.

Hi Nick
A good macro of this metallic looking fly with some fine details of the bristles and body markings. I have posted another version to the workshop with a tweak on the brightness of the flowers done though shadows/highlights in Photoshop. Hope you like it.
Kind Regards

Hallo Nicholas
The shiny colours and fine details captured, and brought across in this image is really great. I am actually astounded by the golden hairs on this Dance fly; it is truly eye-catching, and very delicate to look at. You have photographed it so well, showing all the petite features to its best. This is a great macro which I enjoyed looking at, and not a subject that I am used to see from your lens. The combination of colours is super. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.

Ciao Nick, fantastic macro with wonderful dance fly, fine details and splendid sharpness, great natural colors and lovely blurry BG, I like a lot, ciao Silvio

Hello Nick,
a very good macro shot of the Dance fly, superb sharpness and bright colours, excellent POV, DOF and composition
Best regards

Hello Nicholas!
Very nice macro of Empididae fly. I like these insects because of their rather unique food preferences (most species are predatory). Details of the insect and sharpness are very good, only white reflections are not necessary, but I know that it is very difficult to take good macro ith white flowers :)
Best regards from Lodz,

Hello Nick,
What an extreme sharp detailed macro of this fly. Superb POV and a very good composition. The flowers look a bit overexposed. Beautiful contrast of the fly against the OOF BG.

hello Nick,
This flies are impressive by their special shape und you show this one in a very good composition. Very funny the one leg which is still on another part of the flower. On my screen the light seems a little bit strong.
I wish you a nice day
Kind regards
