Another Bee
 |
|
[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is another of the bees that have been in the garden during this warm sunny period. I believe that it is one of bumble family Bombus camestris, no doubt this will be corrected by some member with a far better knowledge of bees than myself.
Taken from the tripod fixed on a flower (it meant waiting for the right moment) using my wireless shutter release. Cropped in CS3, slight high pass filter and levels.

Hi William, this image deserve much more attention in my view from the members of TN.Technically very close to perfection I think. And a sharp focus is incredibly difficult to achieve in circumstances like this.Congratulations William for that image!

Hi Bill,
a very nice picture of a flying bee.
I know it's not easy to catch them in the air.
When I got my first digi a Nikon 5700, I took 4-500 hundreds of pictures of flying insect before I get one decent.
I think I have post some back in the early days.
the Picture is well exposed with nice and natural colours.
It's also sharp with decent DOF.
Well done.
Regards
Gert
