Hi Stephen,
An excellent portrait on this otter. The light does not look to harsh even though it appears to be pretty direct. The detail is very sharp. I like this composition and framing very much. He has a pretty sad looking expression.

Wonderful portrait, Stephen! The variety of tones in the fur are well displayed! His expression has a very longing expression... maybe he is thinking about diving in the water :-) Composition is nice.. maybe a little more on the right, IMO. Very well done. Thanks for sharing the adorable otter with us.

otter looks sad,must be in a zoo,poor lill guy,i love to watch these guys play in the rivers(in their natural environment) they are hilarious to watch especially when there is a whole family.They love to slide down the river banks,and are very playful, very inquisitive,and at times can be very mischevious,i've had them steal my fishing bait many times! now i take extra for them!

Hi Stephen, nice shot. The pose is very restful, maybe a large lunch? The details and composition are nice. I feel it could do with a little more contrast and a less brightness. I have posted a WS, I hope you don't mind.

Nice pose you caught, interesting POV, good detail and sharpness. I think it needs a bit more space infront of its head to the right though, as it gazes right out the edge and the eye wants to follow the gaze. TFS,
