|Another from my Farne Islands trip - this one from Staple Island, an island famed for its puffin breeding colonies at this time of year.|
Taken with my new Sigma 120-400 (which incidentally I now LOVE after this trip) at nearly full reach, with monopod. I really wanted to catch one of these little guys flapping its wings, and really wanted to get one with sand eels in its mouth.
Set the shutter speed combo to give just a little bit of movement in the wings...

slightly overexposed with some burnt out highlights but all in all its a lovely image.
