[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This Blue Tit was looking for his/hers breakfast amongst the foliage of a Hebe bush growing in my garden.

A common bird in gardens, always looking for small grubs, flies and any other food item. Will always be found on bird tables in the winter, less so in the summer when there are an abundance of caterpillars, grubs and flies to eat.

Easily distinguished from the other tits by the blue head.

Nests in holes and will often nest in front holed nest boxes.

This was taken through double glazing, adjusted levels and contrast.

very nice portrait with good pose of the tit and nice composition. All a bit too dark to my opinion. A bit more light and contrast would bring the bird in better presentation.

It seems a long time since I saw your last picture before this. This is a nice subject with good focus. A points to improve I would like a bbit more space behind the tail, and overal it is quite grainy. I saw you used your skylight filter when making this picture, that probably took away too much light so you had to shift in ISO?

TFS, good to see a new one
