Taken in London Zoo. I always feel mesmerised when I look at this shot.

But after raving about how good this zoo was, I paid a fortune to get in to be severely disappointed.
I base this on visits to Hong Kong, Chang Mia and Bangkok zoo's is this really supposed to be the worlds premier zoo's?

This was my highlight of the visit, a cornflower growing in a patch of ground reserved for native plant species.

Hi Philip, you've captured the colour perfectly.
They are gorgeous flowers, I've got a few lates ones in our garden. Haven't had any time to capture any though :-(
I think the focus of your image is quite soft, but it's still beautiful.
Next time try for a non central composition.
