[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I don't have an ID for this butterfly but hopefully someone here might know. Iv posted a second image of it in my WORKSHOP showing the complete specimen although its wing are closed.

I decided to crop this image hard because of the damage to its outer wing. However hope you like it. If I get a name for this one Il post details later. Ohh! this was taken in the heated butterfly house in N. Ireland BTW.

Hi Stephen, this looks like a Monarch, Danaus plexippus(?). Judging by the damage it's a fallen Monarch. Good close up and nice composition. Good work.

WOW! Stephen, this is unique. Special POV and extreme close up. Lots a detail here. Very good work.

Excellent detail and wing texture.
Very good composition and framing.
Nice one,well done.

Stephen, I like this extreme close-up & you pulled it off well. Interesting POV. Like the angle of the shot including the detail of the jagged edged leaf also. Well done!

Un atípico POV Stephen que permite ver con mucho detalle la conformacion de las alas de esta especie.
Colores suaves y buen DOF.
La imagen del workshop permite ver al insecto completo, aunque tiene algún problema de foco sobre el borda de las alas.

An atypical POV Stephen that allows to see with much detail the conformation of the wings of this species.
Smooth colors and good DOF.
The image of workshop allows to see the complete insect, although it has some problem of focus on the edge of the wings.
