p.s. I was in a bit of a rush when I posted the note so I wanted to add notes about my technique:
The Camera was on a tripod at it's lowest setting with it's feet in the water to get the lowest POV possible. I used Manual exposure mode and set the aperture at minimum (F22) to maximise DOF. I took several shots and the clouds were moving fast and the light on each shot was different. I preferred this one because the sun has lit the hills but not over-exposed the rocks.
Converted from RAW, slight crop at the top, re-size, smart-sharpen 250%, 0.3.

Great picture. Very good composition and colours. Can hardly believe this shot has been taken in Britain.

Hi Andy,
I like it a lot. the low POV wide angle shot of this kind of landscape is just outstanding. You caputed it marvelously. With the rocks in the f/g for a great depth the beautiful lighting and colors and sharpness throughout the entire photo makes this a excellent piece of work. I love the clear water and the patch of sun on the hill.

Hello Andy,

This beautiful image has collected quite a fan club for you. I agree with their assessments. It is an interesting, well exposed, sharp image with good color saturation and strong values. It is interesting from front to back and from top to bottom.

Thanks for sharing.

Une très belle image bien composée...Bravo !

Awesome lanscape pic. The composition with the rocks in the foreground are excellent. The DOF, POV and detail are great. I like the fact that the pic is so detailed and the lighting is also spot on. TFS,

Hi there Andy,

I think this is one of your best, if not the best, landscape pictures. It rocks! I really love the composition and the tranquille, crystalclear water. You've made excellent use of your grad grey filter. Well done my friend. TFS!

Hi Andy, what a beautiful shot this is. The detail and lighting are wonderful and it is tack sharp front to back. A lovely composition. Very well done :)
PS My flying birds are coming along, albeit slowly. Like you, I find the gulls are a good way to start. Haven't got any birds of prey to display yet - I did get a Marsh Harrier but had forgotten to preset exposure compensation so all I got was a silhouette!

Hi Andy nice shot, the composition is good and lovely colours too. I feel there's a little too much room between the FG rocks and the edge of the frame, however, it all works.

Hi Andy,
A great landscape, and your capture does full justice to the beauty!
A very appealing composition with strong foreground interest, the lighting of the slopes in the back adds live and depth to the image...
Pablo -

Hello Andy,
Splendid light and composition with these two huge stones, in the foreground.
TFS and best greetings,
