[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Yet another raid from the Hoverfly archives. Taken last year when I was experimenting with exposure. Not as clear as I would have liked, but the little devils are hardly around long enough to allow you to compose yourself before they're off again, so you have to be quick!

See details of hoverflies pretty much anywhere on here, so I won't bore you with more info!

Not sure what species this is or whether it's male or female, but I know there are experts out there who will know the answer to both!
