Canada goose
Branta canadensis
A large goose, with a distinctive black head and neck and large white throat patch. An introduced species from N America, it has successfully spread to cover most of the UK. It forms noisy flocks and is often regarded as a nuisance in areas where large numbers occur on amenity grassland and parks.
Pictured at the Arundel wetland and wildlife centre, Sussex.

A very nice capture and beautiful tones of the sun on the geese.
Unfortunately the zoom in photoshop has taken away details. However a good capture. There's nothing like the sound of geese flying overhead in formation. A sight to see in spring and fall.

Michael, Nice shot of "Formation Flying" as titled. I would've liked to see this one larger with more detail. TFS

Very good composition and flight shot. I did not know that Canada goose was present in England.

Nice balance between the two birds and the frame of the picture. The picture is nicely cropped. If these birds were bigger in the picture we would not have had a sensation of wide space that give this current composition.

Very nice shot, but very noisy.

This is a beautiful capture and the sharpness is good. The lighting here also supports the image.

The frame here is a bit on the heavy side, but that is personal.

Very well done and thanks for posting.

Michael, great job here. The composition is nice, and so are poses/flights.

Great contrast too.
