Hi Sue,
Wow! The contrast here is wonderful. A very unique bug and leaf combination! There appears to be some pixelation of the bug's shield causing loss of detail. Nonetheless, well seen and captured. I like the composition.

Hello Sue nice shot creative DOF that helps to direct the viewer to the bug as previous crit suggests there is some loss of detail on the bug I would also suggest a little noise in the red channel but could be fixed with a noise removal program. Rgds Necip.

Well, the only flaw is the very, very short depth of field. But I don't know...somehow it just adds something to the picture. The colour contrast is amazing. Very well done, Sue!

Good title. This shield bug certainly shows up without the green leaves. Excellent colours and composition. Lovely textures on the leaf.
