Rosybill (Netta peposaca)

Female ducks are normally much more plain than the male due to the fact that they sit on the nest and need to blend into the surroundings.
The Rosybill is one of the prettiest female ducks.

This one was photographed at the Arundel Wetland and Wildfowl Trust, on a beautiful sunny,cold winters day.
