[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Brought to England in the late 17C the Canada Goose is now widespread throughout the UK. A large stately bird but considered a pest in some areas. Notice the ring on this bird which may signify that it has migrated from it's native North America to a man made pond near Newcastle upon Tyne! Sometimes mistaken for the Barnacle Goose.

Hi Christine, Your 2Nd picture of the Canada Goose is very clear. I like the weed in the picture it helps to add some colour to the water. we have a lot of them on a lake in dorset. well done

And as a Canuck I am thrilled that you put up a shot of Branta Canadensis,
which in some parts of CANADA is known by its native name as Wawa.

Hi Christine, a nice shot of the Canada Goose, I do like to see them preening. I think they are very elegant and also pretty. You have captured this Goose very well. Nice colours and composition.
