[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Trying out methods for photography of insects in flight:

I caught this Jersey Tiger Moth (Callimorpha quadripunctaria Poda, Russischer Bär, Arctiidae) in full flight at 1/4'000 sec exposition. The flapping flight is butterfly-like.

This time I profited from full sunlight, doing serial shots without flash. Pointing and focussing manually is still a matter of chance.

Waaw Dietriich,very amazing shot! Maybe the best moth to take in flight to show the red part too,usually that we can't see when she's normally taken. The sharpness is fantastic and the colors very bright too,well done!!!! Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano
