I could be wrong about the Id so i would appreciate a second opinion!
This Bird came and sat on a tree above us deep inside the Avakas Gorge, It was right above us and very close so geting ready for a picture when the camera is farther away from you then the bird was not easy, Thankfully the tree was pretty thick and i managed to grab a shot of the animal while it was checking me out, a couple of seconds later it was gone!:P
Also another interesting fact was that i was told i was lucky to see this bird at this time of the year, as well as with some harriers and other animals. So im not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing.

Ενδιαφέρουσα παρατήρηση. Το Pernis apivorus είναι κοινό περαστικό είδος το Φθινόπωρο αλλά είναι σπάνιο στην Άνοιξη. Το κυπριακό όνομα του είδους Oenanthe cypriaca είναι σκαλιφούρτα.
