Sideritis cypria (LAMIACEAE)
A perennial subshrub up to 60 cm high. Leaves densely hairy. Flowers in whorls, surrounded by leaf-like, conspicuously reticulate bracts, which are united into a cup. Corolla bright yellow, broadly striped and bordered brown.
It is a rare endemic species, restricted to the Pentadaktylos range in fissures of limestone cliffs and rocks, between 300 to 900 m. Flowering season: June to August.

IUCN category: Endangered.
