Really cool shot of this little bird. As I can see this guy was on way to eat some green caterpillar and the final result off all this action was one moth less on the Cyprus.
Detail and colours are really good.
... Vi syns på söndag morgon :)

Farewell cruel world!
The survival of the fittest in action here Ivan. Very good capture, and so well timed. Not easy to catch through the thorn bush, but you did it!

Ivan, this is excellent! It was fortunate that he was so hungry because it has allowed you to take a fine shot of him. The photo has so many plusses - detail, pov, dof, colours, sharp focus and it is also educational!

Your timing is perfectly. They really have beautiful birds on Cyrpus. This one with the big trophy in his mouth is wonderful. I like his colors and his red eye.

Very good DOF and POV, I like also colours (the eye is just great!) and - as always, very interesting and informative note :)

Perfect timing,a good photographer, a hungry Wabbler and a poor caterpillar all came together to make this wonderful shot. The wabbler no doubt is the hero., but imagine,if not for the little green life hanging on that beak, this picture woudn't 've been born at all!!!!That was his karma to the world!!
Beautifully captured and executed..nice idea not to clone off the branches...
TFS & Cheers

Hi Ivan and really sorry for the delay.
I've been mostly out in the fild these past couple of days searching for some new animals :)
This is a splendid capture and an excellent timing from you!
What a great catch!
The details here are great and the natural colors are awesome!
Nevermind the difficult FG - with all those branches in front of the bird - it's just excellent that you captured it in such a great pose!
Bravo and TFS

The cannon has perfomed very well again in these difficult conditions. Considering the foreground the sharpness you achieved is very good.
I think its a good shot and the caterpillar is a bonus. You guys obviously had a lot of fun in Cyprus.

I have to say that with the bird's naturally red eye, that caterpillar looks suspiciously like the worm from the bottom a bottle of tequila. ha ha
This was a great moment you captured! The shapes involved in this photo are interesting...the curve of the worm mimics the curve of the bird's neck in reverse. Very cool.
I also agree about the framing. The surroundings add to the 'feel' of the photo AND work well to draw attention to the worm and the eye. :)

Good to catch up with this lovely picture I somehow missed, Ivan.
A well composed and pleasing shot despite the dry twigs around the subject. In fact, they lend a natural touch to the image.
PS: I see the comedy in Luis52's critique. Ha, ha, ha!!!

A special moment you captured here, and therefore the twigs partially obscuring the view is acceptable. You were so good to capture this, because a moment like this is usually just available for a millisecond. Well done.
P.S. Will be back to give points, they are finished.
