A mind blowing macro of this fabulous Crustacia, Chris.
Even the eye with the sharpest vision cannot see such fine details with that much of clarity.
You keep on setting very high standards here, my friend.
Hats off to you!

Hello Christodoulos

considering the magnification achieved I thought this was taken with a stereo zoom microscope. Amazing sharpness for a handheld capture and at this Focal length. Fantastic insect too with a rather peculiar structure.
Thanks
Himanshu

Hallo Christodoulos
This image of this myrmecophilous isopod is so sharp it actually looks to good to be true. Wow, the details captured is excellent, the photography as a whole brilliant. I like the almost full framed composition and the close to the eye point of view very much. I also like the sandy backdrop which also creates a natural frame around your subject. Thanks for sharing. My warmest wishes for a Merry Christmas to you and your family and may everything that you hope for come true.
