Bacillus atticus Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1882. Nymph
“The walking Stick”

Bacillus atticus is a species of stick insect (Order Phasmatodea, family Bacillidae). Its body is about 80 mm long. The forelegs are 50 mm long.
It is a parthenogenetic species and can reproduce on its own by laying eggs.

It is found in Italy, Balkans and the Middle East.
The population in Cyprus has been described as an endemic subspecies, Bacillus atticus cyprius Uvarov, 1936
It is very rare in Cyprus found mainly on the host plant Pistacia lentiscus .

i have some big specie's about 15cm
