Hi .this is one of the bigest finch and Very Rare in my Country . It has a length of 21 cm. And in the mountain forests of juniper lives. At an altitude of over 2,800 meters.
The White-winged Grosbeak (Mycerobas carnipes) is a species of finch in the Fringillidae family.
It is found in Afghanistan, Bhutan, China, India, Iran, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. Its natural habitat is boreal forests. |

Dirty Pretty..Very interesting and suitable title for this picture. Anything not that common like this high altitude Grosbeak always are interesting. Nice use of rather harsh backlight to show off this bird.
