It could be a vole, and the most species belong to Microtus. But, I am not a zoologist to have a good oppinion. I hope that somebody elso will help you with the identification.
But anyway, cute animal, taken in a nice pose with very good details!

Hallo Seyed
This is such a cutie pie, and the pose in which you have captured this little one makes it looks like it is a mischievous little rascal. The huge olive shaped eyes stand out well and are a beautiful feature of this little animal. I like the direct eye contact and the natural sunlight in the image. A lovely image without any pretence. too late I iscover one of your rare and excellent wildlife pictures of Iran. Of course an ID would be welcome. The book
HARRINGTON, F. A., JR. (ED.). 1977. A guide to the mammals of
Iran. Department of Environment, Tehran, Iran is unfortunately not available to me. I know that Arvicola terrestris occurs from Western Europe to Iran, but since the picture is from Khorasan province... Anyway, thanks for your contribution to TN.
