Quel étonnant insect, c'est la première fois que j'en vois un, grâce à TN.
Par contre je connais de vue la plante, qui a l'air d'attirer cet insecte qui aime prendre des risques.

I think Mogens called a similar capture "Fakir Mating" at some stage. Poor female.. ;-)
I'm not sure, but your beetles ressemble some kind of weevil. Nice POV with oof bg, good sharpness. I wish you could see the heads a bit better, though.

It looks very much like the Eustenopus villosus, a weevil which is used as a biological control for starthisles. The yellow spots could actually be pollen. But ... I am not sure!

Very nice composition, I love the DOF and the colors in this one.

Mohammad, what a title and what shot. Surely they could havce found a "safger" place to get friendly.
Great shoot and great POV. Love the colour and the composition.
On TN you don't need to know everything about what you shoot, that's almost impossible. Just a note about where you took the shot or the circumstances is good enough.
Your English is fine.

I will add my big welcome back to TN, with pictures like this you are most welcome. these weevils are well seen, and I love the texture ofthe flower head which looks like an Echinops of some sort.
the only very small thing that could be improved for me would be the DOF (depth of field/focus) which is a fraction short IMO. I think 1 stop higher F6.3 / F7.1 may have got the surounding spikes of the flower in focus too, but also still kept the BG nicely out of focus still.

This is a fantastic photo! I think the composition with the off-centered flower and the two beetles on top of it is very strong. The BG is perfect and the details are sharp. I also love the fact that most surrounding colors are pretty desaturated because that way the yellow of the beetles stands out amazingly well. This is a nice picture and I like it a lot. Keep 'em coming! Well done & TFS!

This one is really funny - the Fakir Beed:-). The colours are very good and I like the composition very much. It is a little soft in focus on the male but all over a very pleasant picture to look at. I have never seen these beetles before - I don't think we have them here in Denmark.

These weevils seems to like to pose for, emm, shots in action! I caught two of them too, on a more or less spikey bed... Heh.
