|This is a rather rare Biarum of Israel, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon. Blooms in October-November. Leaves will emerge later after the beginning of the winter rains, as with many other early bloomers. The Spath (leaf like) and the spadix (peg like) are deep purple. The latter is about 10 cm tall.|

Great shot of this beautiful purple plant. Nicely presented in fine detail and just the right amount of.
I photographed something very similar to this in Israel, but never posted it yet. When I get a chance I will email you a picture of it to see if you think it is the same plant.

The color made me think of any missile installation in thumb nail hence it was clear at original, beautiful.
