[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Early fall in the Lower Galilee, not far from Nazareth. It is hot, dry and dusty, ready for the first rains to come after a dry spell of almost six months. The tree in the foreground (left) is Quercus calliprinos, the Common Oak of the area (evergreen!); the bigger ones in the center and background are Q. ithaburensis, Mount Tabor Oak (semi deciduous). "Biblical landscape"... |

reminds me of the day i walked from the lakeside church at mensa christi to the mount of beatitudes...dont know the local name i am afraid...
apart from the interest in the trees this is a great mood shot of a lazy sunny day
i can hear the dogs bark and the clank of a farmers tools in the distance
cheers
