This is our smallest and most common Bee Orchid. Still quite nice when viewed in macro. Sometimes referred to as Ophrys lutea, it is quite different from that European species. This is a small flower; the labellum is less than 1 cm long. |

An outstanding macro image of this gorgeous orchid. Love the yellow color and delicate features. The focus is super sharp showing much detail. I like the diagonal angle you used to composed the shot. Exposure is superb. Great job.
