this is an older pic of Persian Fritillary, a protyected species in Israel. It is found frequently in green flowers in the northern part of the country and has one purple flwoered population in the south. Blooming takes place in late February to mid March. The pending flowers are adapted to prtect the delicate pollen from the rain.

These are so simply beautiful! I love the three tiered view with the stem framing them on the right. What lovely subtle color, the dark background really shows them off!! Well done.

Hi Ori.
Very fine applied composition.I like three above you placed flowers that the step by step open up.Beautiful and pleasant colours and very nice contrast opposite black BG.
Well done,nice shot.
TFS and greetings,
PS:In workshop I thought straighten stem and compare flowers. What do you think you?

Bonjour Ori,
C'est une espèce très délicate, très différente des fritillaria que je connais : les fleurs sont nombreuses et de peite taille. Heureux de la découvrir.

Excellent composition including the different degrees of blooming in the flowers.

Nice shot the three sequential stages of opening are wonderfull good background with good contrast and detail on the petals nice composition tfs rgds Necip.

Shalom Ori, beautifully presented Persian Fritillary. I esp like the simplicity of this compo, < and the lack of any intrusive frame! >. The colours on the bells are delicate. The b/g is very complimemtary, nicely faded. Tfs. Jay

PS To think you are working the desert, while I struggle with iceflowers ;)
