[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
These are the leaves of the desert dafodil, you can see the flowers in a few of my previous pics. It blooms in October and the fruits are ripe already in December, dispersing the seeds to germinate with the same year winter rains. The leaves are typically coiled.

Hi Ori,
Quite original shape over a really sandy soil. A proof of the power of this dafodil.

Hello Ori,
What amazing spirals! I wonder if this is a way to keep the moisture in the leaves? Excellent illustration of this plant and a very interesting picture. Sharp details and nice colours too.
TFS and best wishes, Ulla

Yes, interesting leaves, and very good focus on leaves. I see the flower in your photo gallery. Nice flower. Best regards, Cezar.

Hi Ori,
Amazing. That´s what I have to say about the conditions in wich this plant is growing. I see that the leaves seems to have some water inside, do you know if you can take some water from them or if you can eat the fruits?
About the pic, for me the POV and composition are great, also the colours and the contrast between sand and plant. Congratulations!
TFS

Hi Ori,
An amazing looking dafodil. It must be very hardy to survive In sand. The coils of the leaves are very unique looking.
Well shown here,
Scott

Hi Ori,
this is quite different, not your usual type of
dafodil. those leafes curl lkke a corkscrew. Very well captured, nice low POV. Sharpness and colors are excellent. The composition looks lovely .

Hello Ori,
An interesting post, I've never seen a desert daffodil before. I'm guessing that the leaves coil because of the climate and surroundings. I'll look it up because I'm curious.

A nice image, great detail and a good POV to give us a good clear view of the coiled leaves. Good DOF adds some depth and makes for a pleasing image. Good post.
Regards,
Adrian
