Narcissus tazetta is one of the beautiful winter flowers in Israel. Its wetlands populations are endangered. This one is found just north of Tel-Aviv city ion an area that is going to be built. We are trying to fight these plans, with minor success for the time being.

What a clear and sunny capture!
These flowers are so delicate and beautiful, I like the arrangement and composition made a lot.
Contrast against blue sky works great.

Hi Ori

Before I even read your notes I got the impression that these flowers might be under thread of urban development and when I read your notes it confirmed exactly what I feared I saw in the photo. The image of the encroaching buildings is visible in the BG and so it seems like another space of natural beauty will be lost due to this continuous ant like growth of the human species.

This is a lovely shot of these beautiful Narcissus flowers edged off against the blue sky as BG. Great colours and sharp details make it a pleasure to behold.

Bonjour Ori,
C'est une très belle espèce, que nous connaissons aussi dans les zones humides du sud de la France. La destruction de stations d'espèces rares est toujours difficile à tolérer. J'espère qu'il sera possible de sauvegarder ces plans.
