[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It was a very successful "orchid hunting day" today, with eight species recorded, five of which I saw blooming for the first time this season. Orchis tridentata is one of them. It gests its names from the three “teeth” in the hood of the flower, seen very clearly on the right-hand-side flower. This orchid is quite common in Israel. It appears in different shades of pink to purple. The ones in the picture are particularly dark.

Very nice photo of the orchid. Very good strong colors typical of the orchids. Nice sharp image with good DOF and details of the small flowers.

A lovely combination of lilac and lavender in one flower. The spotted details on the petals are clearly visible and well seen. Nice sharp image with good depth of field.
