[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
One of the most primitive species of Papilionidae in Israel. It is the only specie in Israel which is active in the winter. its upper wings are bit transparent.
As I saw this specimen struggle against the cold wind I waited a few seconds for the wind to relax and took some shots of this very interesting specie.

Hallo Oz, in spite of the wing transparency and the peculiar light conditions wing coloration of this apollinus is well presented. Altogether, this combination gives the picture a particular charme.

Splendid shot, Oz!
The POV of this one is simply fantastic. Great idea with the sky in the back! Excellent DOf, too - isolates the subject from everything else. Lovely colors, very good sharp details, well framed and composed.

A big Bravo and TFS
Have a great weekend
Horia
