[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It really hard to find this species,
A small nocturnal snake, which inhabits the eastern part of Israel,
Its main food items are skinks that it catches under stones during their night sleep.
The snake has the ability to use its poisons teeth even when the moth is close and it is impossible to hold it with bare hands.

Hi Aviad,

Interesting subject and note. You handled the DOF well and your subject is sharp. The little patch of bright light top left tends to pull the eye. It will be better to crop or clone that out.

Hi Aviad, very nice detail and composition on this snake. Its not likely I would want to pick it up, and if I was to photograph it, I probably wouldn't be as close as you are here.

Thanks, John

Hi Aviad,
Such a beauty, the gloss of the scales is nice,
I wish you would crop a bit & bring out a little more detail in the eye region. The exposure & focus are good.

Hi Aviad

This is a slpendid capture!
I really like the pose of the snake here - all coiled up with only his head and tail sticking out :)
The low POV is excellent here and the razor-sharp details make sure everyone knowshow beautiful and smooth he is.
The DOF is also great, the natural colors are lovely and the contrast with the BG is exceptional.
Very good work!

Bravo and TFS

A really good photo of this endemic and rare speices. Thanks for share.
