One out of two lacerta lizards that we have in Israel.
This species is very fast and it is very hard to photograph.
There is a dimorphism; the males are more colorful than the females especially in the mating season.
In the photo there is an adult male in his winter's colors.

This is a superb capture of this colourful lacertid lizard: sharp, good DOF, BG and Comp.
How big is this species? 20cm including tail?
